Both the shape and size should be matched to the face shape. People with oval faces and a prominent nose will look better in hats with a small brim or in berets. While round-faced people should wear a hat with a small brim, worn tilted slightly on the side. Hats should always complement an attire and not be its only good element, designed to save your looks.

It is best to wear a hat slightly tilted. Don't hide all your hair under the cap or a hat. A fringe or curls of hair if visible from under a cap or a beret will add charm. Hats with a wide brim demand long hair to be tightened at the back, otherwise it will create the impression of a mess.

If you decide to buy a tweed cap, a patterned cap or a multicolour headdress, remember to coordinate the colours. All kinds of caps made of fashionable, soft materials are great accessory to a coat or a jacket. Being at the same time our best ally against frost and wind during winter days. A men’s cap will match both a jacket and a short causal coat.

6. What size of a hat?

To measure the head circumference properly take a measuring tape and place it in the middle of your forehead and around one centimetre above the ears. Such measurement guarantees that the hat will certainly fit.

Occasional and wedding headdresses fixed on various bands or combs are of universal size, which means they will fit every head size.
